Winter-Don’t let get down your hair!
Winter is the difficult time for hair. The winter months literally mean assault hair in worst way; get ready for the most rigorous season of year. Inside home, the heating goes up and outside, it goes down! Heated air inside spoil precious moisture of hair. If it’s windy and cold outside, also takes moisture.
Prevention is always better than cure!
So as we know winter’s coming & it does every year, this is the good idea to start early and save hair into the better condition possible. This is easier than waiting for damage to happen and then trying to recover form the problem. As the winter is approaching, natural hair care needs to be adjusted to keep it from damage, which is caused by the elements of the weather. Just follow the common following simple tips:
This time of the year is when long hairstyles are not only recommended and desirable as they are the perfect complement for the many festivities occurring during the winter season, including Christmas and New Year. So go for a good cut, even if it’s just an all-over trim. This will make sure that the hair ends are strong and more able to fight the extremes of temperature.
Protect from whether change:
Wear a scarf to protect your hair from the cold and wind, but make sure that it’s not so tight that it will restrict circulation in your scalp.
with the first snow falls outside your home, dandruff signals appear over your shoulders. Such flaking is due to excessive cell production but it can be cure by using a good dandruff shampoo on a regular basis. But beware of harmful chemically based use only herbal solution and do not shampoo your hair too often. Select the right type of products for your precious hair. The type of products you use on your hair will make a big difference in the overall health of your hair.

Don’t overuse hairdryer.
Since the cold weather causes to dryness your hair, massage your hair in aloe Vera juice for a few minutes. This will helps to restore its softness.
You can massage once or twice a week Olive oil can work wonders in reinforcing moisture to your hair. Heating oil is also beneficial before using it and allows it to soak for a time period les than time duration you allot for the summer season. If you are used to treating your hair with herbal extracts or herbal oil do not soak it for a long time. Herbal ingredients are mostly cooling agents that are more suitable for the summer. Keep away from washing your hair too frequently.
Once you have your hair moist back, lock this moisture by running your hair through cold water & it will also give your hair an extra shine.
Don’t go out in chilly weather with your wet hair, due to risk of breakage.
Limit usage of “hot” items on hair such as dryers and curling irons.
Avoid washing your hair with hot water, use warm or cool water instead, the heat can dry out or damage hair quality ,texture wise and as well as scalp skin.
Try using a dry shampoo or a baby shampoo, simply sprinkle some on your hair and with the help of comb, and comb it off.
Choose your diet
Water: Water makes hair soft so you should have enough water consumption during the day time. Drink enough water even if you are not thirsty. If you thirsty it means that you have lost water. Water keeps your hair silky and shiny as well. Do you know 1/4th weight of a strand of hair, is made up of water. So start drinking enough water from today.
Protein & vitamins: A diet for healthy hair, scalp should be rich in proteins and vitamins.
As hair consists of primarily proteins will give your hair more strength and will prevent it from breaking and splitting. Eat protein rich foods like fish, meat, milk, cheese and cereals.
Ensure that your diet has all the necessary vitamins that help in the growth of healthy hair. Vitamin A makes your scalp healthy and is good for your skin as well. It is found in vegetables especially carrots. Vitamin B and C for hair growth and hair color. Include these vitamins in your diet will ensure that your hair is healthy and does not split. Eat fruits, vegetables, cereals, eggs, milk and bread.
Minerals: minerals are also important for healthy hair. Iron carries oxygen to the hair. Include red meat and dark green vegetable in your diet. Zinc prevents hair loss. Meat and seafood have a high content of zinc. To improve the natural color of your hair, incorporate copper in your diet. Fresh vegetables, nuts, seeds, meat and liver are high in copper.
Exercise: Along with a healthy hair diet, regular exercise and yoga will improves blood flow to your scalp skin, nourishes and help in re-growth of hair.
