Wheatgrass is a humble weed that is a powerhouse of nutrients and vitamins for the human body. In the form of fresh juice, it has high concentrations of chlorophyll, active enzymes, vitamins and other nutrients. In fact, one ounce of wheatgrass juice is equivalent in food value to two and a half pounds of green leafy vegetables. Wheat Grass Juice naturally supports the body’s ability to cleanse itself & is one of the most nourishing foods in the world containing an easy to digest broad spectrum of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, proteins and antioxidants. To ensure optimum quality, we only use the concentrated juice from fresh Wheat Grass.
The three most important effects of wheatgrass on the human body are: blood purification, liver detoxification and colon cleansing. This is because wheat grass juice is the richest source of vitamins A, B, C, E and K, calcium, potassium, iron, magnesium, sodium, sulphur and 17 forms of amino acids. According to Dr Bernard Jensen, it only takes a few minutes to digest wheat grass juice and doing so uses up very little of the body’s energy.
The best part is that it has ‘live enzymes’. Each enzyme performs a specific function within the body in conjunction with other enzymes and they control all the bodily functions. Enzymes also have a deterrent ability against cancerous cells. Unfortunately, the over-salted, processed modern diet provides little by way of enzymes.
Wheat grass therapy, a home remedy, is known to help even severe and chronic cases of constipation. Have wheat grass juice on an empty stomach first thing in the morning.
You can grow your own wheat grass in earthen pots. Sow wheat grains in seven or eight pots. You can sow one pot of wheat grains every day for 7-8 days. You can the harvest the wheat grass when it is 7-8 eight days old and measures about 8-10 cm.
This gives you enough grass for a week-long therapy session. Keep sowing more grains as you keep harvesting grass, so that you can make the treatment a continuous process. Use only the leaves of the wheat grass to extract the juice; discard the roots. The dosage of the wheat grass juice ranges from 20-50 ml every morning, depending on the severity of the constipation.
Once you drink the juice, avoid taking anything else for the next fifteen minutes.
